As 2 adults and 4 children we had the most amazing time. We were well looked after. Food was amazing, activities were great! Everyone there were so lovely, they all came to say goodbye to my 9 month old. Tge day spa was beautiful and my only regret is not booking more services.
I could fault this resort for a family at all! The only thing is we actually preferred the king rooms over the family rooms. We loved this place!
Having stayed at the Waitui Beach Club resort in May 2023, we were so incredibly impressed we decided to come back for Christmas 2023! As usual the service was spectacular! The resort itself is so well looked after - especially the gardens and the upkeep of the rooms. Sad to say the food could be improved upon. The choice is quite limited at Waitui Beach Club and meant we went out for meals to Port Denarau on a few occasions. The food at the Bazaar Restaurant was incredibly well presented with incredible choices but was COLD by the time we got back to our table :-( Perhaps some PLATE WARMERS would not go amiss! We just love hot food to be HOT :-) Overall a fantastic place to stay for adults only and for families in the major part of the resort :-) Vinaka to one and all! See you next Christmas 2024!

We stayed in a luxury room with beach club access. The room was modern, clean and well serviced. Love the new mini bar swap!

The beach club has had some upgrades since our last visit and it was very comfortable, peaceful and with the gorgeous view. Breakfast at the beach club was delicious, as was lunch.
Staff were fabulous, they make an effort to learn your name and make sure you're happy.
While we did have 2 minor points of feedback we provided when asked, staff went above and beyond to remediate for us. Truly exceptional service.
Shout out to Elenoa and Solo at beach club reception, as well as the Head Chef at Waitui Grill (apologies didn't get his name) and Suli, Romeo, Mary, Lee, Rachel and Wilma who made our stay especially comfortable.

My husband and I, together with my sister and her husband, and my brother and his wife, had a wonderful holiday at the Sofitel Fiji as 3 couples with access to the Waitui Beach Club which was great. However, there were many families staying at the resort and from what I could see, everyone was having a great holiday; so it is a destination for everyone.
The staff at the Sofitel are their biggest asset, everyone was helpful and very obliging, and everyone deserves praise.
Although their names are rather difficult to remember the stand-outs for me were Lia and Lili at the Bazaar Restaurant reception,
Setariki - a very efficient and charismatic waiter at the Waitui Club, Sasha, Elanoa and Solo at the reception of the Waitui Beach Club.
The staff at the day spa were also just amazing, and I would also like to commend the laundry ladies.
The club and our room allocation was exceptional- as a result the holiday stay exceeded expectations!
We we warmly greeted upon arrival to the Beach club and were pleasantly surprised by our outside room allocation.
The Bar and Grill provided outstanding service and good for all meals, however the breakfast menu was our favourite. Thank you for providing the high standard we expected and in fact, exceeding our expectations!
What an amazing resort. Service couldn't be faulted and the food was as good as we have ever had on holiday overseas. Had so much planned for the holiday with Island Trips etc but quite honestly found it super hard to leave the Sofitel and especially the Waitui Club. We will definitely be back as soon as possible.
