Water's Edge Restaurant: Open for all day dining, Water's Edge Restaurant can't be missed, with its large white umbrellas and sweeping ocean vista. A magnificent starlit setting at the water's edge is enhanced by the music and songs of the "Castaway Islanders" with their acoustic guitars and island style bass. Covered breeze-conditioned dining in the "Bure ni Vutu", bure beside the vutu tree, is adjacent to the water's edge terrace.
Nuku Marau Pool Bar & Grill: Located next to the new family pool, close enough for adults to sit by the pool and enjoy a relaxing meal or drink while watching their children play. There are a variety of meals and drinks available including Polynesian and Asian inspired dishes plus traditional meals such as fish and chips.
Sundowner Bar: Open for drinks, breakfast, gourmet pizzas and snacks, with happy hour each evening. During happy hour the Sundowner Bar is a child free environment however for those travelling with children the free kids club is available.
Restaurant 1808: This adults only restaurant is a great casual dining experience with fantastic views over the ocean, open for dinner (selected days and weather dependent). In celebration of the year the Chinese arrived in Fiji, enjoy the '1808' dining experience, a fusion of Fijian and Asian cuisine where meals are shared in the centre of the table.

Castaway Island Fiji is renowned for its fantastic diving experiences having been awarded the PADI International Five Star Gold Palm status, the highest recognition PADI awards its resort members. Whether you're an experienced diver or have never tried scuba diving before, there is a diving activity for you. For novice divers there are a number of introductory courses and even children has young as 8 can try diving under the supervision of the accredited instructors in the PADI Bubblemakers program.
There are also snorkelling trips that cater for all ages where you will visit a submerged reef and experience the best of Fiji's colourful corals and fascinating marine life. A dive master is on the boat at all times during the trip to answer any questions you may have and to ensure you a safe and interesting experience.
Bure Lomani: Fijian for pleasure, Lomani spa well and truly lives up to its name. Traditional Fijian massages in the tranquil setting of the tropical gardens will relax and pamper you to utter bliss. The expert staff will ease away your tension with their blend of traditional and aromatherapy techniques with treatments also available on the beach or in the privacy of your room. Please note this is not a full service Day Spa, but massage service is provided.
Kids Club: This complimentary service will provide children 3 years and up with an exciting, entertaining and education Fiji holiday experience. Open from 9am - 4.30pm and 6.30pm - 10pm. There is also a separate, supervised children's dinner from 5.30pm - 6.30pm. With a mixture of games and Fijian cultural experiences your kids will have the time of their lives while being cared for by the Castaway family.

Weddings at Castaway Island Fiji are romantic occasions and the tropical island oasis provides a stunning setting to exchange vows. The most popular location for ceremonies is the jetty adjacent to the dining terrace at sunset, providing a golden orange glow to warm your hearts. The Minister is available prior to the ceremony to discuss the finer details of the ceremony and to accommodate your individual needs.

Second visit to an epic resort. I'm staying at a different resort right now and it is nowhere near castaway. Do yourself a favour and book this resort, you won't be disappointed

We've stayed at other islands in Fiji previously and we found Castaway was one of the better family resorts and has something for everyone!
The resort is spacious, the dining & food is delicious, the views are stunning,
the pools were big to have distance between other guests, the beach and water sport activities were fun.
It was sad to leave paradise! We gave it a 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back!

Cons: Very expensive, bures infested with bugs/ants of some kind, main pool area was left with dirty glasses.

First time at Castaway Island and first family holiday with our 19 month old. We could not have picked a better place!! Not only was the resort beautiful, the staff were absolutely amazing. They continuously took care of us and loved our son which was so nice to see. Isaac especially looked after us and made our experience even better. I can see why people constantly return to this place. It's amazing, you need to book it asap! We will definitely be returning :)
The staff at Castaway were completely amazing and could not do enough for us. They were friendly and remembered everyone's name, which was amazing with so many people at the resort.
The cultural night was fantastic and gave everyone an insite in to the Fiji history and the history of Castaway. The dancers were amazing!
