Ocean View Bure: Traditional Fijian design with bamboo walls and coconut palm thatched roofs, simplistic island flavour complete with private veranda. Bedding is 1 King Bed. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults.

Beachfront Bure: This bure is 750 square feet in size and features a private veranda and includes outdoor lava rock shower. To ensure a harmonious balance between nature and contemporary elegance, this bure has been carefully designed and hand crafted by local Fijian craftsmen using wood, bamboo, lava rock and coconut palm thatch. Bedding is 1 King Bed. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults.

Tree House: This room type is 850 square feet in size and features a sun deck, king size day bed, outdoor Jacuzzi, and is surrounded by lush tropical gardens, yet only steps from the beach. The 3 split-level Tree Houses are unique to Matangi Island and includes outdoor lava rock shower. Bedding is 1 King Bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults.

2 Bedroom Bure: This spacious villa is 1600 square feet and features 2 bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms, large private veranda and is located on its own private point only steps from the ocean This villa is built in the same style as the Beachfront Bures and includes outdoor lava rock shower. Bedding is 2 King Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults.

Vale-Ni-Kana Dining Room: Built only metres from the pristine beach, this stunning complex boasts 270 degree views of the ocean and the tropical landscaped gardens. Within a 20-mile radius of Matangi Island are countless dive sites including the world famous Great White Wall and Noel's Wall. Getting There

There are daily inter-island services with a flight time of approximately 90 minutes from Nadi or 60 minutes from Suva. A mini-bus will meet you at Taveuni Island's Matei Airport, and will take you on a scenic 20 minute drive to the boat landing, where transfer boat will meet you. This is a wet landing, so please be prepared to wade to the boat. The water taxi takes about 20 minutes to get to Matangi Private Island Resort.
