Matamanoa Island Resort is a small, intimate adults only Fiji Resort set in the beautiful Mamanuca Islands. Found just 30 kilometres west of Nadi International Airport and offering a range of hotel style Fiji accommodation along with beachfront bures. Matamanoa Resort was created for guests who want to forget the pressures of their business or busy lifestyle or for those who dream of peace and tranquility.

Matamanoa Island Resort is constructing a state of the art indoor/outdoor spa. As this is a long distance from the resort there will be no interruption to the operation of the resort and very little, if any noise. Work is expected to be completed by the end of August 2010. The spa should be operational by the end of September 2010.

Due to the renovation of hotel rooms, the resort will be closed from 01 November 2010 and reopen on 02 December 2010. Hotel rooms will remain unavailable through till 31 January 2011.

Accommodation

Matamanoa Island Resort offers two different types of resort accommodation - the Garden View Hotel Rooms and Beachfront Bures.

All rooms feature:

outdoor table and two chairs.

Garden View Room: 13 air-conditioned hotel rooms located on the ground level all in row and set amongst tropical gardens. Ensuite bathroom with single vanity, marbleised bench, European fittings and Italian tiles. Bedding is 1 Queen size bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 adults.

Beachfront Bures: 20 spacious bures of traditional Fijian design with high ceilings, designed to catch the breeze and feature louvered windows throughout with overhead fans. Bures have sliding doors opening onto the patio which overlooks the ocean. Size of bure is 54sqm. Bures also has coffee table, chair, personal safe, patio with hammock. There is an ensuite bathroom with twin vanities, granite bench, state of the art fittings and Italian tiles. Bedding is 1 King bed and Sofa bed, plus extra rollaway bed if required. Maximum room capacity is 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Dining

Lunch is an A la Carte Menu with a Daily Blackboard Special plus Pasta of the day. Dinner is a choice of either the Table d'hote Menu or the A la Carte Menu either on Full Board or Half Board & the Saturday Evening BBQ Seafood Buffet. Fruit juices, tea and coffee are included with breakfast, tea and coffee is included with lunch and dinner, however the Meal Plan does not include beverage other than tea & coffee.
