Guests are met by Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort Fiji and transferred by land to Savusavu Bay where this luxury Fiji resort is set amongst a coconut plantation over 17 acres of lush tropical landscape. This eco friendly Fiji resort offers amazing views out onto the Pacific Ocean, the waters are peaceful and perfect for families to go snorkelling, diving, kayaking and swimming.
Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort Fiji offers a range of individual bures and a villa that are ideal for a relaxing holiday. The bures are roomy and comfortable with remarkable views of the tropical gardens or calm waters, perfect for a private romantic holiday, honeymoon or family holiday to Fiji. Families and couples are well catered for at Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort Fiji children under the age of 12 are invited to join the Bula Club from 8am - 9pm daily to give the adults time to relax or to take advantage of the many activities available. Couples aren't missed, the day spa offer pampering treatments or private island dining experiences are available. Facilities at the resort include 4 swimming pools, a restaurant and bar, day spa, PADI dive centre, children's program, non motorised sports and an onsite Marine Biologist.
Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort Fiji offer 25 individual bures and villa which have been built using local materials to create a traditional Fijian bure with thatched rooves to provide spacious and comfortable Fiji accommodation for guests. The bures offer a peaceful location as the bures do not have TV's or telephones.

Garden View Bure: Overlooks the tropical gardens. Bedding is 1 King Bed and 1 Day Bed. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults or 2 Adults & 2 Children.
Oceanfront Bure: Offers a hammock on the front deck with water views. Bedding is 1 King Bed and 1 Day Bed. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults or 2 Adults & 2 Children.
2 Bedroom Oceanfront Bure: Bedding is 2 King Beds + 1 Day Bed OR 1 King Bed + 2 Single Beds + 1 Day Bed. Up to 31 March 2017 - maximum room capacity is 5 Adults & Children. From 01 April 2017 - maximum room capacity is 6 Adults & Children.
Deluxe Oceanfront 2 Bedroom Bure: Bedding is 2 King Beds + 1 Day Bed OR 1 King Bed + 2 Single Beds + 1 Day Bed. Maximum room capacity is 5 Adults or 2 Adults & 3 Children.
Point Reef Bure: Located in a secluded area with split levels featuring ocean views. Bedding is 1 King Bed and 2 Day Beds. Maximum room capacity is 5 Adults or 2 Adults & 3 Children. The Point Reef Bure does not have child proof balconies so adult supervision is recommended for children under 3 at all times.
Honeymoon Point Reef Bure: Located in a secluded area and features a spa bath. The bure is split over two levels. Bedding is 1 King Bed and 2 Day Beds. Maximum room capacity is 5 Adults or 2 Adults & 3 Children.
The Villa: This luxury Balinese inspired villa offers almost everything, spa bath, private pool, outdoor shower, kitchenette, waterfall and decks with ocean views. Bedding is 1 King Bed and 2 Day Beds. Maximum room capacity is 5 Adults or 2 Adults & 3 Children (over 6 years, under 6 are on request only).
Restaurant and Bar: The restaurant is set as an open air dining area which offers amazing ocean views and the resort swimming pool. International, Fijian and South Pacific meals are served along with a wide variety of wines. The traditional Fijian Feast (Lovo) and Mongolian BBQ theme nights are put one once a week for guests to enjoy. Additional costs apply to the following dining options Dining by Starlight at Pier's End, private dining in your bure and a Private Fiji Island Escape where you are taken to a private island for a gourmet picnic lunch.
Family Dining Options: there is a separate dining area for those with children under the age of 13. Children eat breakfast with their parents in the main restaurant area. Lunch and dinner can be served at the Bula Club or in the Restaurant with their family.

The Dive Centre: Beginners up to expert divers will be looked after by the experienced dive staff at Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort Fiji. The PADI staff offer certified courses on some of the world's best diving location. Be amazed by the soft coral, colourful reefs and endless sea life that are within easy reach of the resort. Night dives, drift dives, boat dives, underwater naturalist dive and peak performance buoyancy dives are available. Minimum age for diving is 10 years.
Fiji Spa: Using locally produced - Pure Fiji products, Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort Fiji's day spa offers a fantastic range of spa therapies, massages and beauty treatments designed to leave you feeling relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated.
Bula Club: Offered daily from 8am to 9pm and is the perfect way for those 12 years and under to learn about the Fijian culture and enjoy an array of activities. There are two programs, Lei Lei and Maua for toddlers and juniors 12 years and under. Bula Club also offers a Chef`s Junior Assistant for the day (6-12yrs). Here, children can learn about the preparation involved for Bula Club meals. There are also full time baby sitters and children dining times so that the adults can enjoy some time to themselves. Baby sitting after 9pm incurs a fee.
Teen Program: The resort also offers a program designed for teens which includes making a traditional Fijian `Billi Billi` (bamboo raft), snorkelling, rainforest hikes, bonfires on the beach and much more.
A current passport, birth certificate, and proof of annulment or divorce (if appropriate) are required. The marriage license can be arranged at the District Office in Savusavu. Appointments are made on behalf of the wedding couple during normal office hours: Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm, Saturday 9 am-12 pm. Special requirements for Catholic Weddings: Couples are to check exact details (well in advance) directly with their local priest in their home Parish. The following is an example of mandatory requirements: proof of baptism, letter of permission to marry obtained from local priest containing a statement of freedom to marry and confirmation of completion of marriage preparation program. The paperwork must be sent (well in advance) to the priest in Fiji. Weddings can be performed Monday - Saturday.
Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort Fiji is located on the island of Vanua Levu, easily accessible from Nadi or Suva via Pacific Sun 1 hour domestic flight. The Resort is then a 20 minute transfer from Savusavu airport which is a complimentary transfer provided by the resort.
Children: Children are welcome year-round in Gardenview, Oceanfront, Deluxe Oceanfront 2 bedroom, and 2-Bedroom Oceanfront Bures. The Villa will accommodate children age 6 and older all year round. Children under 6 years in the Villa are accommodated on a request basis only. Children rates apply from 0-12 years.
