Malolo Island Resort Fiji is an idyllic South Pacific island situated on the island of Malolo in the Mamanuca Group, just 25 kilometres from Fiji's International Airport. Malolo Island offers bure style holiday accommodation with the beachfront bures having panoramic views over the Pacific Ocean.

Maolol Island Resort will be undergoing refurbishment works to Treetops Restaurant from 14th May to 24th May 2008. Hours of work will be between 6.00am and 6.00pm. Every attempt will be made to minimise disruptions to guests. Both Treetops and Terrace restaurants will be closed over this period. Meals will be served at the Beach Bar and also in the Talei Lounge. Guests staying at the resort during this period will receive compensation of FJD$50.00 bure credit per bure per day.

Malolo Resort - Bathroom In Bures

Malolo Island Resort offer plantation style air-conditioned accommodation, reminiscent of the colonial era with high vaulted ceilings which provide a feeling of spaciousness and rustic elegance. The bures are set amongst lush tropical gardens, only a few steps from the Pacific Ocean.

Oceanview Bure: Malolo Island Resort has 30 Oceanview Bures, each 33 sq metres with 14 sq metre verandahs. Each bure has with 1 x king size bed and 2 x single beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. [floorplan]

Deluxe Oceanview Bure: Offering 18 Deluxe Oceanview bures each 50 sq metres with 14 sq metre verandahs. Each bure has 1 x King size bed in a separate bedroom and 2 x single beds in the spacious living area. Maximum room capacity is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children and 1 infant in a cot. [floorplan]

Family Bure: Only one Family Bure which is 100sq metres with a 20sq metre verandah. It comprises of 2 bedrooms each with a king sized bed, one ensuite and one main bathroom. There are 3 single beds located in the spacious living area and with an elevated location this bure has a fantastic view of the ocean. Maximum room capacity is 7 adults and children. [floorplan]

Dining

Beach Bar and Grill: located at the water's edge with spectacular sunset views over the fringing reef. Open morning till evening the Beach Bar & Grill offers casual beachside dining for lunch and dinner including an all day snack menu and evening cocktail hour with reduced priced drinks and the sounds of the Malolo Serenaders. Open for lunch 11.30am to 2.30pm and Dinner from 6.00pm to 10.00pm.

The Terrace Restaurant: Has views over Fiji's only sand lagoon pool and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner alfresco (including children's menus).

Tree Tops Restaurant: Is set high in the coconut trees overlooking the resort. Enjoy fine gourmet dinners of Pacific Rim cuisine in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.

Tree Tops Bar: Open till late every evening for drinks and exotic island cocktails with entertainment nightly by the Malolo Serenaders.

The Pool Bar: Cool off with a relaxing beer, wine or cocktail whilst sitting in the pool or relaxing in the jacuzzi.

Leilani's Spa: The Beauty Spa facility opened in April 2005 and comprises 3 open air treatment bures set amongst lush tranquil gardens. Soothe away that city stress and Jet-lag with a relaxing body massage for men & women or a variety of beauty treatments.

Talei Lounge: The Lounge has been designed for those quieter child free moments and is strictly for Adults only. The lounge offers books and magazines, DVD/video player and library. Curl up with a good book, watch a movie or play one of the many board games available.

Kid's Club 'Tia's Treehouse':
What's a holiday without some indulgence (and time away from the kids)? Malolo takes care of both with a brilliant Kid's Club 'Tia's Treehouse'.

Tia's Treehouse is a spacious bure set back into the hillside under a lush mango tree. It is filled with lots of equipment and games, a fully fenced playground and the happy and smiling faces of the friendly Fijian Kids Club staff. Supervised Kids Club is complimentary and strictly to children between the ages of 4 to 12. A typical Tia's Treehouse day could include Watermelon cracking competitions, three-legged races, shell collecting competitions, crab hunting, limbo dancing, balloon dancing, fish feeding, painting and lots more!

Please Note: Tia's Treehouse is not equipped to cater for children under 4 years and a private baby sitting service can be arranged at the Resort for F$5 per hour.
