Weddings

Marriage under Fijian law involves two parts: The first part is the registration of the intent to marry with the Registry office in Nadi. The office is open from 9.00am - 3.00pm Monday to Friday, and the appointment will take approximately 20 minutes. Castaway Island will try to organise an appointment for the bride and groom in the Nadi Registry Office on the first or second day of arrival in Fiji. This will allow for the completion of the Fijian Registry requirements before coming to the Island for the marriage service.
The second part is a religious ceremony to be held on Castaway Island. Usually the ceremony takes place at sunset on the jetty adjacent to the dining terrace. A minister would be available prior to the wedding to discuss the wording used in the ceremony. See Instant Quote for Wedding Costs.
Wedding Ceremony Castaway Style includes:
Limousine transfers and escort to the registry office in Nadi
Donation and return boat transfers for the Minister or Celebrant
Use of traditional Fijian wedding attire for the bride and groom and two witnesses (if required)
