Commencing in May 2008, Sheraton Fiji Resort will undergo an extensive refurbishment estimated at US$22 million, with re-opening on 01 November 2008.

The refurbishment will encompass all areas of the Resort from the Grand Lobby, to the pool, recreational facilities, meeting venues and spacious guest rooms, creating a new look for one of Fiji's favourite resorts.

Located on beautiful Denarau Beach, on the North-west point of Denarau Island only 20 minutes drive from Nadi International Airport and 3 minutes from Port Denarau Marina. Denarau Island is connected to Fiji's largest island - Viti Levu by a causeway, with Akuilau Island just offshore.

Set in 25 acres of tropical gardens, this Holiday resort accommodation at Denarau Beach is ideal for families and couples seeking that added touch of luxury. The low rise architecture is framed by rows of tropical palm trees which allow gentle sea breezes to flow through the resort. Guests have full access to all the restaurants, bars and recreational facilities at the adjacent Sheraton Denarau Villas and The Westin Denarau Island Resort and Spa, as well as the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club.

Ocean Resort Room: Oversized 52 square metre executive rooms, located directly on the beach front with prime views of the Pacific Ocean, offering a large living area and exclusive Fijian valet service. Bedding is 1 King bed or 2 Double beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 adults or 4 adults and children.

Dining

Sheraton Fiji Resorts offer variety of dining options, whatever your mood. Numerous restaurants and bars are available at the Sheraton Fiji Resort and the adjacent Sheraton and Westin Resorts as well. The complimentary "Bula Bus" makes getting there easy and you can charge everything back to your room.

Port O'Call: The South Pacific's ultimate cuisine and personal service...the authentic decor of a 1930s cruise ship. Menu selections from ports throughout the world in an atmosphere of relaxed, intimate fine dining. Open from 6pm-10pm, 7 days. Seating capacity - 76.

The Verandah: One of the Denarau Island's most popular restaurants, overlooking the beach and cooled by sea breezes. Open for breakfast, serving continental and American buffet breakfasts. Special themed buffets with Seafood, Fijian, Indian and Asian cuisine, are the feature of evening dining. Open 6.30am to 10.30am for breakfast and 6.00pm to 10.00pm for dinner. The Cafe: A sidewalk style cafe offering light meals, sweet delights and freshly brewed coffees and selections of teas, selection of cocktails and extensive beverage list. Small menu available for breakfast. Located beside tranquil ponds and the lobby shopping arcade, open from 8.00am-11.00pm, 7 days. Seating capacity - 108.

Blue Vonu: Ocean front 'al fresco' dining, offering Mediterranean flavours, wood fired pizzas and pool-side cocktails with an extensive beverage and wine list. Open from 11.00am to 10.00pm, 7 days.

Planter's Lounge: Casual sea view with live band entertainment, offering international and tropical cocktails and light bar snacks, Fijian cultural show every Friday night. Open 5.30pm-12.00am 7 days a week. Seating capacity - 75.

Planter's Club: Air-conditioned bar that feature a Nite Club with DJ. Offering International cocktails and nightly drink specials. Open 9.00pm-1.00am, 3 days a week from Thursday to Saturday. Seating capacity - 40 plus 40 standing.
